Meet Missy. Actually, Kylie. She is the magic maker behind all the cakes and treats that you can’t stop thinking about.

​

Kylie grew up on a dairy farm in Essex, UK, surrounded by fresh fruit, veggies, and plenty of muddy boots. Family is everything to her. That includes her chosen family and of course the dog (or any dog she sees for that matter).

Baking is in her blood thanks to her Granny, who taught her that a good sweet treat and a cup of tea, can solve almost anything.

Her mum passed down a love of growing produce and flowers, which Kylie took seriously enough to try floristry for a few years. 

Now living in Brisbane, Kylie juggles family life with a 4-year-old whirlwind daughter and her stepson, an 18-year-old who’s always been her biggest fan. Her husband Chris owns Sassafras of Paddington, so between them, it’s all about great food, real connection and sharing their passions with the community near and far.

When Kylie’s not busy whipping up something delish, you will find her at the pub, in the ocean (or creek or paddling pool) or partaking in her favourite hobby, napping.
